I just picked up the posters and postcards for my upcoming show at The Goodfoot in Portland, Oregon. Save the date: Thur Aug 28, it’s going to be a great show with art by Emily Bates, Lea Barozzi, Matt Schlosky and me!
I jazzed up this piece from last year… the best part is her eyes seem to follow you no matter where you are in the room. Creepy for the win.
Best part of being an artist is being able to make the perfect gift for someone. This little giraffe was a gift for my dear friend Denise, it is acrylic paint on wood panel.
It is tempting to leave pieces as ink only but when comparing the ink version to the painted version it’s amazing how much the paint adds to the overall look and feel.
I received a beautiful little painting in the mail today from the talented artist Amanda Pangle! It is fantastic and it is already hanging on my inspiration wall. She just opened a Society6 shop, you can buy her prints here :)
A man at work gave me a large amethyst stone and it is so beautiful that I had to work it into a drawing. So here is a dancing amethyst ballerina, ink and acrylic paint on watercolor paper.
Mermaid, Ink and acrylic paint on watercolor paper with background texture added in Photoshop.
My newest painting already has a new home… with my mom, who fell in love with it when she saw me working on her in the studio. :) Ink and acrylic paint on watercolor paper.
